Fan Art with John Mayer

Fan Art with John Mayer

The long, strenuous wait is finally over for John Mayer fans, as today marked the release of his highly anticipated new album, The Search for Everything… well, a nice little chunk of it, at least.

The hyper talented, singer/songwriter recently announced that instead of pushing out his new record all at once, he wishes to release it in waves of four songs at a time, once each month. A rather unique and unusual roll out, indeed, but one thing is for sure: there is new music to be excited about coming our way every month.

Wave One is here and we couldn’t be more ecstatic! While he was busy searching for everything, we were searching the internet for the latest and greatest fan art to share with you today in celebration of his triumphant return. Check it out down below in this week’s #FanArtFriday:

The realism in this graphite sketch is insane! Love every detail from the wrinkles in his shirt to the stubble on his chin. Thank you @k.stenmarck.

The wonderfully talented, @kit_wj_lee, created this amazing digital portrait that is so good, it looks like a photo at first glance.

Really adore this fantastic line work of some of my favorite JM lyrics. Hand written with chalk by the lovely @littlemisssecondgrade.

This B&W, long-haired Mayer by @Johnmayerart would make the perfect decal for my guitar!

It’s rare to see a realism tattoo look this…well…real! Fantastic work by @artofbenbickley. This is what die hard fandom looks like, people!

I wonder if this is how Johnny feels when his poetic lyrics are coming to the surface? Rad typography portrait brought to you by

It’s always awesome to see artistic influences manifest themselves in new ways. Some seriously intricate detail in this John Mayer sketch by @NickMarzock.
