The Ladies…

Lupita Nyong’o glowed on the red carpet yesterday in an off-the-shoulder dress sprinkled with happy colors. The shoulder-baring trend has been all the rage this season and luckily you don’t have to go couture to rock it. Pencil in a shopping session ASAP and snag a few off-the-shoulder tops and mini dresses, which are perfect for a music festival or a concert.

Allison Williams in an All-White Jumpsuit

We can’t get enough of Allison Williams’ chic all-white jumpsuit. From a concert under the stars to a night out on Broadway, a white jumpsuit just works. Just slick your hair back, swipe on some lipstick, and you’re out the door looking effortlessly polished.

Jourdan Dunn in a Blush Pink Gown

The sweet rosy color, the strapless sweetheart neckline, and the voluminous high-low skirt—there’s so much to love about Jourdan Dunn’s ethereal confection. The sparkly jewels just take it over the top. Make her look wearable by stocking your summer wardrobe with muted blush colors—tops, dresses, skirts, you name it!

Danai Gurira in a Bright Yellow Gown

We called it! Everyone is indeed coveting Beyonce’s signature Lemonade yellow including actress Danai Gurira. We love that she paired the dress with a purple clutch and blue shoes to really make it all pop. Get inspired by her multi-colored look and create one of your own with the bright-hued pieces that are already in your closet. No shopping required.

Leona Lewis in a Sparkly Choker Necklace

Looking forward to an Enchanting night 👑

In case you hadn’t noticed, the beloved ‘90s choker trend has made a major comeback. Chokers work for pretty much any summer event you have on your calendar. Dress a choker up for a concert with a little black dress like singer Leona Lewis or dress it down for a music festival with an off-the-shoulder top and denim shorts.

The Gentlemen…

Jesse Tyler Ferguson in a Midnight Blue Tuxedo

A Tony Awards for the books with my favorite, @justinmikita! Thank you @samspector for making us look so pretty!

Although the classic black-and-white tuxedo look will always be in style, we love it when stars get a little more creative with their looks on the red carpet. Case in point: Jesse Tyler Ferguson who stepped out in a midnight blue tux paired with a shirt and bow tie in a lighter blue shade. Consider this unique color combo when you’re shopping for your next concert or theater outfit.

James Corden in a Burgundy Tuxedo

Tony Awards host James Corden rocked the red carpet in a burgundy tuxedo. It’s classic but with a fun twist. Take notes from Corden and incorporate the lush burgundy hue into your summer wardrobe with basic pieces like t-shirts and shorts.

Daveed Diggs in a Floral-Printed Suit Jacket

Snapped this before the madness began. #tonys

You have to love celebs who aren’t afraid to make a statement on the red carpet. Hamilton actor Daveed Diggs is definitely one of them. His grey suit jacket with floral-printed sleeves is unconventional and fierce, but he wore it with such confidence. The takeaway? Don’t be afraid to wear something funky to your next summer event. Confidence is all you need to make something look good. Start your own trends.

David Burtka in a Black Iridescent Tuxedo

Way to sparkle, David Burtka! Again, here’s another gentleman that wasn’t afraid to veer away from the ordinary. Subtle but statement-making, the actor’s black suit boasts an iridescent sheen that really stands out. If you have tickets to an upcoming Broadway show, we highly suggest throwing on a shimmering black blazer on for the occasion.

Zachary Levi in a Light Grey Suit

Ditch black this summer and mix things up with grey pieces instead. The color looks much fresher and more relaxed and is perfect for events like music festivals where you’ll be doing lots of dancing in the sun.
