Fan Art Friday: Pokémon Go With Your Favorite Music Artists

Fan Art Friday: Pokémon Go With Your Favorite Music Artists

Whether you like it or not, we are now living in a world where pesky little Pokémon lurk around every corner.

It’s only been a few weeks since the augmented reality mobile gaming app and cultural phenomenon known as Pokémon Go made its market debut and already we are seeing its influence reach world domination status. Anybody that has been anywhere near a park, lake, or historical monument recently has, no doubt, encountered teams of intrepid Pokémon trainers strolling about, stalking and catching the rare digital creatures that are afoot.

Though, an ambitious Poké-master like yourself, may not have to necessarily go out of their way to catch ‘em all. As it turns out, you may just find some of your favorite Pokémon popping up to hang out with some of your favorite artists.

Recent reports of wild Pokémon appearing at crowded concert venues and amphitheaters have been flooding in from all over the nation. So much so that even the musicians themselves are getting in on the action. It’s pretty awesome. Check it out down below via these epic screengrabs we found from around the web:

Looks like Poliwag used the rain delay to weasel his way into some VIP seats for Garth Brooks. Well played my friend…

PITBULL FANS BE ADVISED: A rather aggressive looking Hitmonlee seems to be a big fan. Please be careful when approaching.

Even Wiz is sick of these annoying Pidgeys popping up everywhere and getting all up in everyone’s business.

Dang…riding shotgun in Kevin Jonas’ lambo?? Never thought I’d be jealous of a Horsea 😤

How dope would it be if G-Eazy and Logic were actually the trainers holding down the gym though? 😂

Selena Gomez was LIT! Obviously Ponyta heard the news and had to make an appearance.

Hmmm, Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 is playing Pokémon in between shows…brings new meaning to back stage rituals!? 😜

Nothing wrong with playing a little Pokémon at a concert in between sets or while you’re in line grabbing drinks, but don’t miss out on the once-in-a-lifetime moments with your favorite artists. A Geodude just ain’t worth it!

Pssst… Pokémon superfans, we suggest checking out the Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions, which is heading to Music Hall At Fair Park in Dallas, TX on Oct 29, Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, GA on November 19, and Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, ON on May 6. Catch more live concerts and Pokémon, and head over to Ticketmaster to see what’s happening near you.
