The Summer Never Ends With These New Music Favorites Memories

The Summer Never Ends With These New Music Favorites Memories

The beaches are closed, school is back in session and the first winds of autumn are blowing in, but the memories of summer will get us through the cold months ahead.

Speaking of the warmest (and best) of all seasons, the summer 2017 batch of Ticketmaster Insider New Music Favorites may have been our best yet. If nothing else, it was easily the most diverse collection of bands and artists we’ve featured so far.

From country artist Ryan Hurd to R&B loving American Teen Khalid, from the electro pop of Betty Who to the indie pop of A R I Z O N A to the full on rock of Arkells, these New Music Favorites had something for everyone and kept music fans coming back all summer long with killer online exclusives.

New Music Favorites Summer 2017 Highlights

Ticketmaster Insider went to Canada for Arkells’ raucous homecoming show at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage and saw them rock the house.

We watched A R I Z O N A takeover our Snapchat account and reveal the inspirations for songs off their debut album GALLERY, including the live favorite “Cross My Mind,” which they also performed for us.

We went to the first night of Khalid’s sold out American Teen Tour as he got ready to take over the world.

We saw exclusives live performances from Ryan Hurd and found out how he prepares for a show.

We went to the final sold out show of Betty Who’s Party In The Valley Tour and let her take over our Instagram account and tell us why her fans are the best (though, I’m sure the other groups might disagree).

Not to toot our own horn, but not only did our featured artists make some of the best music of the best year, they also made some of the biggest.

Khalid went from being a little known 19-year-old singer to winning the MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist. Arkells had a number one hit on the Canadian music charts with “Knocking at the Door.” Ryan Hurd made headlines and hit the country music charts hard. With the release of their album, A R I Z O N A has over 100 million Spotify streams to date and both Betty Who and Khalid had sold out tours.

As we head into the fall, keep your eyes out for even more New Music Favorites and exclusive content you’ll only find at Ticketmaster Insider.
