Green Day made quite the triumphant return late last year with their first new album in four years, Revolution Radio. Given the politically charged nature of their music, it seemingly arrived at a perfect time for fans. The American Punk Rock icons came back to face the brooding tension of the current political climate head-on with 12 brand new tracks, each of them ripe with timely social and political commentary.

With decades full of love and support from within the Green Day community, it comes as no surprise that Revolution Radio has been met with great success. Fans are really resonating with the new album and are absolutely pumped to see it performed live on their huge North American tour coming later this year.

You can head over to Ticketmaster for dates and more info regarding the Green Day: Revolution Radio Tour, but in the meantime, take a look at all of this killer fan art that we rounded up for this week’s #FanArtFriday! Green Day fans are a dedicated and crazy talented bunch, no doubt! Check it out:

Thank you @roysinaga_ for this sick, cartoon style ink illustration of GD frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong. This would make an awesome background for a tour poster or t-shirt!

Gotta love these rockin’ Dookie shoes! Hand painted perfection that you can wear, courtesy of @thecarabiner.

Awesome watercolor/colored pencil work from AsylumGraphics.tumblr.com. Lots of great color work, depth, and detail in this one.

Here is a super rad canvas painting of the whole gang created by the wonderful @sarah_k_makeup. I wan’t this on display in my bedroom, stat!

The talented @manubgood_art brings us these incredibly well done realism portraits of the classic trio of Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool. All the expert shading and detail in these pieces must have taken hours upon hour of hard work! Bravo.

What better gift from a loved one than a dope hand painted portrait of your favorite band to hang near your guitars for some inspiration? Look’s like @the_real_rxrich has got himself a keeper!
