Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2015 kicks off on Friday, June 19, but you don’t have to wait until the weekend to get the party started — after all, this is the biggest electronic music festival in the country we’re talking about here. That’s right, EDC Week began in Sin City on Monday the 15th, offering festivalgoers a seemingly endless string of parties and events to get them primed for the main event. EDC’s fan-first philosophy holds that “you are the headliner“, and with the impressive array of pre-fest events lined up for EDC Week, you can start your set a bit early this year. Read on for the day-by-day highlights of this year’s jam-packed festival week.
Monday, June 15
Don’t miss house music favorite Borgeous spinning deep and progressive sounds at Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan. His debut single “Tsumani” was one of the most played tracks on the 2013 festival scene, and we’re sure he’ll continue to blaze EDM trails in 2015.
Tuesday, June 16
Get down with superstar Dutch DJ Afrojack at the EDMbiz opening party at Omnia Nightclub. Afrojack is a 2015 festival season staple, so this is a great opportunity to get in early on what promises to be another epic year for the legendary spinner and [or something because he’s more than a producer right?] producer.
Wednesday, June 17
Things really heat up mid-week with a plethora of parties across the city. During the day, enjoy the summer sun with Showtek at Wet Republic while Audien and Friends hold it down at Marquee Day Club. After sundown, head to Hakkasan for electro house sets from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, or make your way to Surrender to get down with Chicago trap duo Flosstradamus.

As the festival proper approaches, the EDC Week lineup gets even more impressive. Daytime standouts on Thursday include parties with Above & Beyond and Krewella at Wet Republic and DJ Snake at Encore Beach Club. As the air cools and the stars come out, keep warm with nighttime sets by Hardwell at Hakkasan and Porter Robinson at Marquee Nightclub.
Friday, June 19
With the festival officially underway, EDC Week continues on Friday with fest-adjacent parties to satisfy fans of every stripe. By day, get down with Dutch sensation Martin Garrix at Wet Republic or dance your way over to the Encore Beach Club for the next-level sounds of Diplo. EDC Las Vegas (June 19-21)
With more than half a million people heading to Vegas for this year’s EDC, you better believe it’s going to be epic. Prepping for the festival? Head over to the ticketing FAQ page for all your ticket questions, and make sure you know how festival wristbands work to prevent any mishaps. If you’re taking a shuttle to the event, enjoy the convenience of Ticketmaster terminals within the shuttle stations. One thing you don’t need to plan in advance is hydration — water is free at this year’s EDC, just look for the water droplet symbols on the festival map to find the nearest station. And with that good news, we bid you a fantastic EDC 2015.
