Ticketmaster & the Bridge School Team Up to Help Kids Communicate

The Bridge School Charity helps kids with speech and physical impairments develop the social, educational, and recreational life skills they need to thrive. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts here at Ticketmaster — music and entertainment can be effective tools for overcoming these difficulties — so we couldn’t be happier about teaming up with the Bridge School to help raise money and awareness about this worthy cause.

From October 19 through October 25, fans buying tickets on Ticketmaster can support The Bridge School by adding a donation during checkout. 100% of the funds will be passed on to the foundation, helping to provide much needed educational programs and assistive technology.

At the end of the campaign The Bridge School will hold its 29th annual Bridge School Benefit Concert on October 24 and 25 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.

Neil and Pegi Young have been involved with the organization for some time, so you can be sure the concert will rock — this year’s lineup features a seriously impressive array of artists including the Dixie Chicks, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent, Spoon, Ben Harper, and Mr. Young himself. Past performers have included Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, and Robin Williams, and we’re sure this year’s concert will be just as memorable.
